WHO WE ARE
OUR BELIEFS
THE WORD
At Fellowship Church, we believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — the verbal, complete revelation of His will for mankind. Being God-Inspired, Scripture is incapable of error and is not merely a guide but the final authority for our lives and the final source of everything we hold to be true (John 1:1; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We submit our beliefs, our practices, and our daily lives to its teaching as a living sacrifice.
GOD
At Fellowship Church, we believe there's one God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 14:9; John 14:26). He's the Creator of heaven and earth and everything living in it (Genesis 1–2; Colossians 1:16-17). And we believe Jesus, the Son, is God Himself who took on flesh and walked among us — fully God and fully man (John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:9; John 20:28; Philippians 2:6-7).
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ — that He is the One eternal God, embodied in the flesh (John 1:14; John 10:30; John 14:9; Philippians 2:5-6). He was divinely born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and gave Himself up on the cross as a sacrifice for our sin (Matthew 1:18-25). He was buried for three days, and then He rose again, appeared to many witnesses after His resurrection and ascended into Heaven — alive forevermore (Luke 24; John 20).

We believe Jesus Christ is our sovereign Lord, and that one day every knee will bow — in heaven, on earth, and under the earth — and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).
REPENTANCE
We believe in repentance, asking God to forgive us of our sins and then turning away from sin. God's Word calls us to personally examine our hearts, minds, desires, and lives — and if there's anything in us that doesn't line up with His Word, we lay it down, leave it and do not return to it (Acts 2:38; Luke 13:3; 2 Corinthians 13:5).
WATER BAPTISM
We believe in fully immersed water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and that it is more than an expression of faith but is essential in being obedient to the Word of God. — Scripture teaches that God's people are to be buried with Christ in water baptism (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12-14; Acts 2:38).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit and that it's God's desire for His Spirit to dwell in every believer (John 20:22; Acts 19:2), and through the Holy Spirit comes power (Acts 1:8). Power over sin, power over the flesh, power over fear and anxiety, and power over every plan and scheme of the enemy. We believe the Holy Spirit leads us in righteousness, producing fruit in us like love, peace, patience, and the ability to make good, right choices in life (Galatians 5:22-23). We believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit, God gives us the divine ability to speak in tongues — a heavenly language beyond our own, that no one can interpret but God (Romans 8:26-27; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 14:2).
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We believe in the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit and that through the Holy Spirit, one person is given a word of wisdom, another a word of knowledge, another faith, another gifts of healing, another the power to work miracles, another prophecy, another the ability to discern between spirits, another different kinds of tongues, and another the interpretation of tongues. All of these come from the Holy Spirit, who gives them out to each person individually, just as He decides (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).
MISSION STATEMENT
Fellowship Church exists to glorify God by proclaiming Jesus Christ, preaching the whole counsel of His Word, making disciples, and building a Spirit-filled community devoted to the apostles' doctrine, authentic fellowship, prayer, worship, and the work of the ministry.
We are committed to investing in one another, serving our communities with the love of Christ, equipping believers for the work of ministry, and carrying the Gospel to our neighbors and the nations until Jesus Christ returns.
